Agutter thrilled for Herzog film

Jenny Agutter has revealed that she cannot wait to start filming Werner Herzog's drama, Queen Of The Desert

Jenny Agutter will work with Werner Herzog and Nicole Kidman on Queen Of The Desert

The Call The Midwife actress will make an appearance in the period piece as Florence Bell, the stepmother of British explorer-writer Gertrude, who will be played by Nicole Kidman.
"I'm playing Nicole Kidman's stepmother in Queen Of The Desert. It's a nice role; a cameo part in a film by Werner Herzog," she said. "He's a terrific director, so it's very exciting from that point of view."
James FrancoRobert Pattinson and Damian Lewis also star in the film, which has been shooting in MoroccoLondon and Jordan.
Meanwhile, Jenny has reprised her role as a World Council member in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
"What I've done is played the same role, but she's not a shady character," she said.
"World Council members are described as 'shadowy', as they are when you look at them in the cartoon strips; they are literally shadowy - they literally create these shadowed characters that you can't quite see; you don't really know about the background. I t's a tiny role, but it was just lovely to have the chance to go back and play the same character again in Captain America."
Jenny also admitted she has no plans to write an autobiography.
" I've kind of steered away from it, partly because of the time and also investing one's mind in the past as opposed to the present," she said, before joking: "I'm also a very, very slow writer."
