It is highly publicized that Rajnikanth's latest flick "Kochadaiiyaan" (Vikrama Simha in Telugu) would be hitting screens either on April 12 or April 24. They wanted to cash on the summer season as most of the students will be enjoying their holidays by that time. But latest updates indicate that Rajnikanth decided not to release the flick till May as situations in the country scared him. He convinced his daughter and movie's director, Soundarya about the same. This May is going to be the hugely occupied with issues like general elections and at the same time IPL matches are also catching the fever of youths. Many big movies lost big as they dared to release during IPL seasons earlier. Keeping both the things in mind, Rajni backed out from the race.
