Kim Kardashian wears see-through dress as Naomi Campbell slams her Vogue cover

Reality star Kim Kardashian has been hitting the headlines recently for her controversial Vogue cover and she’s at it again for all the wrong reasons.

The mum-of-one stepped out in New York flashing a lot of skin for someone trying to justify an exclusive photo shoot with the iconic magazine.

Kim has attracted a wave of scathing criticism from a string of the world’s fashion A-listers including supermodel Naomi Campbell and actress Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The 33-year-old flaunted not-so-sexy black lingerie, which included a pair of Bridget Jones-style knickers, underneath her grey lace sheer dress.

The high-waisted underwear won’t satisfy her critics who have questioned why US Vogue editor Anna Wintour thought Kim was a credible cover girl for the legendary magazine.

Top model Naomi burst out laughing when she was asked her opinion of Kim and her rapper husband Kanye West’s appearance on the cover during an interview.

After insisting she didn’t want to comment she said, ‘‘Because I'm a fashion model and I've been working for 28 years, and when you get a Vogue cover, it's a build in your career.

‘‘It's a stepping-stone to achieve that. And I'm a fashion model, what more can I say?’’

Actress Sarah tweeted: ‘‘Well……I guess I’m cancelling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???”

Kim teamed her revealing ensemble with gold strappy heels and tucked her poker straight hair behind her ears. 

She wore a white version of the body-skimming dress a couple of months ago when she was a caramel blonde.

Not happy with the stream of negativity publicity directed at her recently for her lack of fashion credentials, she again stepped out in the headline-grabbing outfit.

The bride-to-be donned her signature smoky eye and nude lip, along with a heavy application of powder for a flawless complexion.

Her raunchy dress was for a television appearance on the Late Night WithSeth Meyers Show.

 

She tweeted her excitement over the interview, writing: ‘‘Getting ready for latenightseth! Tune into NBC tonight!’’

Earlier that day she was spotted in a more down-to-earth ensemble of skinny grey jeans, a grey T-shirt and chic black leather jacket .

She was arriving at Greenwich Village hotel with her superstar fiancé Kanye.Surprisinhly, she was wearing the same outfit as she touched down at New York's JFK Airport on Monday, a rare outfit-repeat for the star.

The famous couple have become one of the most talked about duos in the world after posing on the cover of Vogue's April issue.

Actors James Franco and Seth Rogen created their own mocking Vogue cover by super-imposing their faces on Kim and Kanye's figures.

Modelling a series of wedding dresses, the loved-up couple, who will marry inParis in May, posed alongside their adorable daughter North for the coveted magazine.

The infant models a series of white dresses for her role as flower girl, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibowitz.

Kim tweeted her excitement at the spread along with a link to the Vogue site earlier, saying: "This is such a dream come true! Thank you Vogue magazine for this cover. OMGGGG I can't even breathe!"
