M.C. Mary Kom created history by becoming the country's first woman boxer to win a medal at the Olympics. Due to her outstanding achievements, Manipur Government decided to name the road lining the Manipur Sports Village as Mary Kom Road while also making her the Additional Superintendant of Police.
